Cały ten Szczecin” for the third time! It seems that it was only yesterday that we inaugurated Szczecin meetings by saying that our city needs its own music circles which should create for the sake of its culture, identity, character, brand and promotion. Simply – for Szczecin. And now the third edition brings tangible effects of our endeavours: the developing Faculty of Jazz, another titled jazzmen in the city and the long-awaited comeback of Jola Szczepanik. We can see that the future of jazz in Szczecin is bright, especially if we take the following into consideration: the work on Academy of Music and Visual Arts and the engagement of Stowarzyszenia Orkiestra Jazzowa (Jazz Orchestra Association) in this process. Szczecin favours jazz music, the environment develops, and our motto is still the same – WE PLAY TOGETHER!
